Dog and Duck Leisure Park

Great location of caravan park beside river, with pub on site and rooms above pub. Room was a decent size with en- suite bathroom. The pub on site was a bit dated but the staff and customers were very friendly. We enjoyed the one evening we spent in there.

The room could have been cleaner as the back of the bathroom door was dirty, and there was a dead spider squashed into the skirting board. There were some croissants left for breakfast, but they had a 6-month expiry date, so full of preservatives. You're missing a trick by not arranging breakfast either with the pub or by offering something a bit more healthy

It was quiet, peaceful, and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We also enjoyed the convenience of being upstairs from the pub!

Unfortunately we found the bed uncomfortable for us and there was no hair dryer.

Is not a leisure park at all, no leisure facilities except fishing, walking and an empty pub, place was deserted. The sheets were old and bumpy. The towels were rough, cheap and bath towels too small for comfort. Toilet came loose, shower screen came away from runners. Staff in pub very pleasant. 10 mile detour because of road closure, should have been told before booking. Pub stopped serving food at 7 o’clock! Not much to recommend. Tidy and well kept but obviously mainly a residential static park, not a leisure park. As there are no leisure facilities even with more traffic there is only the pub.

Perfect for the Augustine Camino. Clean, cool and comfortable.

The room was clean, good shower, bed was comfortable, plenty of hanging space. Kettle, fridge all clean. Plenty of coffee etc. Air con was really good.

I think the fridge shoud have been on prior to my arrival, due to the hot weather.Towels were a bit on the small side. Also one towel had bleach marks on it. It's a shame there are no breakfast facilities. A strawberry filled croissant is not really a breakfast. I went to a supermarket and purchased milk and cereal, also a spoon and bowl! When you are in a fairly isolated spot, breakfast is a must. Otherwise it would have been top marks

Everything was very clean and the staff were polite and helpful.

Having a pub on site and with tourists I would have expected the pub to provide a breakfast menu. Instead we visited a nearby Wetherspoons and had two breakfasts for less than £15.....

Floor was dirty tiny bathroom and was in the middle of nowhere. No amenities close. No breakfast served as only attached pub that didn't open til lunchtime.
