Logement en bord de la plage avec vue sur mer de notre terrasse. Logement spacieux avec une grande salle de bain. Literie très confort. Restaurant sur place. Petit déjeuner copieux. Personnel très serviable. Petit déjeuner préparé et apporte au logement pour un départ en excursion très tôt le matin. Village juste derrière l’hôtel.

Les prix du restaurant et des cocktails nous semblaient un peu cher. Un problème de douche un soir résolu le lendemain.

Très bon petit déjeuner copieux, gourmand pour adultes et enfants, manque peut être des légumes ou céréales pour varier

Bellissima struttura sul mare gestita da un italiano di nome Antonio sempre affiancato da un ragazzo di Zanzibar (Remo) che gestisce le varie esigenze degli ospiti. Remo e Antonio, così come tutto lo staff, sono stati sempre molto gentili e disponibili ad aiutarci nell’organizzazione delle gite,transfer, taxi ecc. La struttura si trova in un villaggio locale, molto autentico, lontano dal sovraffollamento di Nungwi e dintorni. Consigliato a chi vuole vivere un’esperienza autentica e distante dai resort e in generale dal mondo occidentale.

L’unica pecca è il prezzo delle gite, di gran lunga superiore alla media dell’isola. Ci siamo spesso ritrovati in gruppi con persone anche italiane provenienti da altri hotel che avevano speso anche parecchio di meno. Le gite in sè sono state delle belle esperienze, organizzate bene e gestite con cura, ma il prezzo così alto ci ha lasciato un po’ di amarezza

We had a fantastic stay at Sofia Sea View. The rooms are stunning, we had a room on the Beach. The staff is great and very helpfull. We adjust this place to go to and spend a nice and quiet time.

Found out myself that the lock to the door was broken so the apartment couldn’t be locked at all. Meaning all my personal items and I weren’t safe. Only after flagging this myself the staff told me the key was broken but promised someone would take a look that same day. No one showed up to fix it that day but another staff member came to me and basically not acknowledging the safety issue and laughing in our faces & saying there’s 24/7 security at the hotel. The communication from the staff was the most problematic in all this: hiding the broken key issue in the first place, not acknowledging the safety issue, no one of the staff being understanding or apologetic and no compensation offered. Luckily I was together with friends staying at the same hotel in another room so every time we went out I had to repack my suitcase and bring my stuff over to their room. Otherwise my whole stay nothing would be safe. The master bedroom door of the apartment could be locked from the inside so while being in the bedroom it wasn’t completely a free walk-in house for everyone to enter. However, this would also mean that the whole other half of the apartment for which I paid for, the largest and most expensive room of the property, I couldn’t actually use because this was just a 24/7 open house. The second evening after returning only the lock was fixed. My friends and I left a day earlier and booked another hotel, because apart from this issue with the bad communication, other things made our stay unpleasant and uncomfortable as well (small portions of breakfast and drinks and couldn’t order more without a surcharge, staff didn’t really seem willing to work, even with the sliding door fixed it was f*ing heavy so every time exiting or entering had to ask my male friend to open it for me)

Struttura con solo 4 camere. Quelle fronte mare molto belle. Unica pecca la vicinanza ad un asilo .

The road leading to the property is not very clean and is not tarmacked. The room I got, which is by the entrance was a damp and the bathroom had an odd smell
