Base Camp Tasmania

Such a beautiful bush retreat with such a wholesome family owning and running the stay. So much wildlife of a nighttime (even a cute wombat!) and the facilities were so well stocked and clean! Highly recommended!

This spot is awesome! Facilities are amazing, host is a legend and all those wallabies and pademelons!!! Would deffo come back here.

Incredible location: amazing to be able to stay in a well equipped cabin that's perfectly set up for nature stays in this beautiful place. It's simple, perfect, clean and thoughtful. Thanks to the property owners for making this accommodation available to people who want to stay in the bush comfortably, affordably, and with a light footprint. The place has a whole lot of good systems for recycling etc and cleanliness is top notch. Everything is well thought out. It's a place for true immersion in the bush and is good for the soul. Bonus to encounter so much beautiful wildlife and the staff have great inspiring 'outdoor ed' energy: keep it up guys.

Lovely camping spots with access to a kitchen and dining area, toilets, showers, and even laundry. Met an overtly confident but friendly possum who tried (and failed) to get into the hot sauce.

If youre looking to just be surrounded by nature, silence, this is the place. Is a nice ride from town, facilities are clean, friendly people and staff, and super eco friendly, which i loved. I which i could have stayed longer.
