"Adventurous."

Walk to the beach was definitely a plus. Everyone should try this place at least once. Quiet and private.

Coconuts dropping from the trees at different times of the night and day.

"Peaceful location close to the beach"

8.0

The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with both a shower and bath. Loved the locally produced shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. Quiet location with a lovely garden with lots of birds. Pool was a bonus - very small but refreshing. Proximity to the beach is great but it’s part of the national park so you have to pay to enter the beach.

The location is away from most of the restaurants so you really need to drive in the evening to eat. The tents are very close together so there isn’t much privacy.

"Depends on the other people staying over"

7.0

The tents were comfortable and the outdoor facilities were very nice, I liked the fact that they use organic, locally made conditioner and shampoo.

The people in the tent next to us played loud music all night long, and of course we expected to hear some noise as this is the tent experience, but this was unacceptable. This kind of behavior should not be accepted - the owners could do a better job at making this clear.

Located in a very neat, “hippie-like” neighborhood. The tents are romantic and the beach is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen! My husband, who is not an avid camper and too manly to admit to going glamping, loved this more than I did. It is a slow paced, relaxing experience.

The “virtual hotel” thing they have going on does not work. We ended up working with the groundskeeper for all of our needs, who is the only staff member present, and had a difficult time communicating.

"Great location and set up. Sketchy staff, will not return to this property"

2.0

The bathroom set up was really great and quite beautiful. Each tent area felt quite private. Clever use of the space. The room inside was relatively comfrotable although it did have a bit of a musty smell

The caretaker of the property, William was sketchy. I had a booking for two nights that I wanted to extend by an extra night. I didn't find availability on Booking.com, so I asked him via WhatsApp (he had given me his WhatsApp to communicate with during the stay as he was the only person onsite), to which he said it wouldn't be a problem, and that it would be an extra $75 cash. I had already paid $99/night for the two nights booked through Booking.com. We agreed to the addl. $75 for the night. And then late in the evening and early next morning, while I was trying to head out for 6:30am snorkeling, he sends me multiple messages, saying I need to cancel my full booking and pay him in cash for all 3 nights. I tried explaining I couldn't do that as I had already stayed the past 2 nights, and the number of messages he sent were numerous and harassing. I got late leaving for my snorkeling trip and felt uncertain as I left if I would be able to stay that night. As a solo, female traveler, he was being opportunistic, trying to do a deal on the side, and getting rude when he realised he wouldn't be able to pocket the money for the stay. All the facilities and other aspects of the stay, including location were great. But between Dominical and Uvita there are plenty of other, safer and more professional facilities that I would choose to stay at in the future
