Mowani Mountain Camp - Damaraland

Response to extra requests. When we got into our room a bird had broken into prior to our arrival, with our room being really dirty (i.e. bird poop on the bedsheets, pillows, on the floor and feathers everywhere). Although the staff that helped us with our luggage told us that they would notify the cleaning staff to come and clean the room up, this never happened. When we went to the reception after one hour had passed to ask for our room to be cleaned the answer we got was that we were putting too much pressure on the staff. I believe that this kind of service is completely unacceptable in a location of premium quality charging premium prices.

What an incredible place to stay. The views are the best we had ever seen. It was like we had gone somewhere magical for a few days. The staff were great, the food was lovely and the whole experience made our road trip of Namibia even better! The area to watch the sun go down was out of this world and it was the best outside bar we had ever visited. We highly recommend the mini suite.

hard to describe how unique this place overlooking a magnificent (underrated) geological site. the rooms/private bungalows are superb. food is great. staff is amazing

The place and the property are very special. You stay in the middle of impressive rocky and hilly landscape, virtually between big rocks. We liked especially the views to the surroundings. My and my wife spent 16 days in Namibia traveling and Mowani was probably number 1 for us. Not very cheap but worth of the money.
