In einem Park, nahe am Wasser. Gute Busanbindung nach Edinburgh.

Aus der Dusche kam kaum Wasser, Warmes Wasser nur begrenzt. Der gesamte Wohnwagen schon sehr verwohnt. Die Schlafräume sehr klein, kaum Platz zum umziehen oder um Koffer abzustellen. Sehr dünne Wände, man hört jedes Geräusch. Bei Sonne sehr warm innen, dafür morgens sehr frisch

Close to Edinburgh and the beach , well appointed with crisp clean white sheets. Tea, coffee, sugar etc. I had read some reviews that made me worry before I got there. I needn’t have worried. It is a static caravan with loads of living space, a decent shower, 2 toilets, 3 bedrooms. Booking in was a breeze - the owner had registered my car, the lady at the barrier gave us directions it was easy to find. The owner sent a map too but it was tiny on my phone (the key box was simple to use and meant as a group we could come and go knowing whoever got back first would have a key to get in.) Parking was just outside the caravan. When we got in, it was clean and comfortable, boys were happy with TV.

Not a lot to say here, it is a little dated but for the price I thought it was great. The single beds in caravans are narrow for adult men.

Price was as good as we could get for Edinburgh for a night before the airport in the morning

Il punteggio alto è dovuto soprattutto alla posizione, comodissima per visitare Edimburgo, ma in un villaggio di mobil home sul mare con tutti i servizi. Suppongo che per una coppia con bambini sarebbe perfetta. Poi va segnalata la disponibilità del proprietario, che ha risolto subito un piccolo problema con l'asciugacapelli. Inoltre abbiamo apprezzato il gusto con cui la casetta è arredata, con soprammobili molto carini e bei quadri alle pareti e la presenza di due bagni.

Purtroppo la mobil home in sé è un po' vecchiotta e andrebbe fatta una manutenzione più accurata perché per esempio la maniglia della porta di ingresso è mezza rotta o in bagno andrebbe ripassato il silicone nel piatto doccia per eliminare i brutti segni negli angoli. Poi, se anche ci si aspetta che i letti siano piccoli, almeno i materassi potrebbero essere più comodi. Invece in questi si sentono tutte le molle. Nel frigorifero mancano tutti i cassetti dello sportello, così che il già poco spazio viene occupato dalle bottiglie che devi per forza mettere sdraiate. Le posate sono tantissime, ma di scarsa qualità: i coltelli hanno quasi tutti la lama traballante e non tagliano. Pentole e padelle andrebbero sostituite quasi tutte in quanto vecchie e usurate e soprattutto andrebbero ispezionate da chi fa le pulizie, perché le abbiamo trovate appiccicose e sporche. Peccato perché con pochi aggiustamenti la casa potrebbe meritare il massimo del punteggio.
