Strandparc Nulde

The kitchen and living room are very nice and modern. They were equipped with everything you could need. Great and spacious shower, everything was clean. The location by the lake was very nice with beautiful sunsets. You have your own free parking behind the chalets.

You have pay for bed linen. I do not understand why is not the price included in the over all cost for the accomodation. It does not help the fact that, pillows, blankets and beds in general were really small and uncomfortable. The bedrooms were also consederably small.

The view over the canal. That we had an issue, called someone and then someone came and fixed the issue.

The cold. Central heating first did not work but had to be turned on by someone working there. The radiator in the bedroom was seemingly broken so the nights were very cold. I got sick, which might have been due to the cold or something else tbh. But the cold did not make the nights easier when already struggling with sickness. The noise. The parc is next to the highway, easy to reach and to get to and fro, but especially during the day there is not much quiet to be had with the constant stream of cars passing by. After heating got turned on, we couldn't really use it at night because the radiators made so much noise that we couldn't sleep. The kitchen was usable but I don't understand why it was not equipped with some salt and/or pepper. Using small sample packets of soap for everything instead of just having a soap dispenser ready seems environmentally unsound.

Excellent location and accommodation

Accommodation definitely had not been cleaned. Several windows had bird mess on them which spoilt the view, the shower couldn’t be used for long because the water would not drain away and so would flood the bathroom, the large living room clock had no battery in it and the ceilings had not been cleaned of cobwebs because there were trapped flies everywhere. Also, we had to Google how to use the extremely complicated mini oven/microwave unit that we don’t have in the uk - there should be instructions on its use. Adverts also suggest that you are going to be by the water however there are three rows of apartments around the edge of the water - needs to be made clear how close you will actually be. Hope these points help - we didn’t raise these issues on our break because we spent most of our time outside so we found ways round them rather than waste our time complaining or having to move apartment. We hope to return next year with our children this time!
