Seton Sands Haven Holiday Park - Platinum Caravan

Our hosts were amazing, they did an awesome job making our stay lovely. The caravan was very clean, tidy and all in order. Everything you need was in place and well laid out. It was home away from home indeed.

The site is within good location to get into edinburgh, busses from the site every 20 mins, and a couple of minutes walk to the beach. The caravan was OK inside, shop onsite was good and had the basics that you need.

You have to pay extra on top of your accomadation to use any of the Haven facilities on site £50 for an adult and £25 for a child, and classed as peak season, i didnt know may was peak season, not good if you have a big family, and even then your not guaranteed to be able to use the facilities if it's busy as we were told by a haven representative, and you have to pay extra on top of that, the cleanliness of the caravan wasn't great, and of the whole site, a fence blew down infront of the caravan on day two of our 6 day holiday, it was quite dangerous in the high winds, flapping back and fourth in the wind with loose panals, I did report it to a haven representative, but nothing was done about it the whole time we were there. A lot of the site looks warn and tired and needs a bit of a revamp. The cleanliness of the tables in the onsite restaurant, were not good, sticky, didn't even look like they had been wiped down at all, we ate twice in there for dinner, we had the chicken salad on a pitta bread, was nice but swimming in salad dressing and was to over powering to eat, so it ruined it, and breakfast was OK, expensive for what you get. There is suppose to be a quiet time from 10pm until 7.00am according to the site information when booking, I can say there is not, every morning from 6.00am staff banging around and bins banging, gates banging that can't be secured and children running around until 11.00pm at night screaming and shouting, and nobody around monitoring this, along with the loud music from the night time entertainment, definitely not quiet. I think I actually came home from my holiday, needing a holiday due to the lack of sleep.

Check-in and communication with the owner prior to arrival was easy. The caravan was perfect with all facilities needed to spend a wonderful time with family. We loved our stay there. The owners did beautiful deco that made us feel at home.

The caravan was lovely really comfortable had everything we needed. The shower was powerful too 🙌

Dog friendly caravan and close to the beach. Rooms were clean and the decor is very much live, laugh, love. Living room is large and kitchen was spacious and well stocked. Shower pressure was great. I would recommend this stay to young families as the caravan is next to all the Haven amenities.

The key box was difficult to open on arrival, took a few tries to get the keys out. The footpath at the back of the caravan was noisy till late as we mistakingly booked during the school half term. Cars parking right outside the caravan restricted our access to the grass parking area for the caravan.
