Fantastic breakfast and amazing curries in the evening. The staff were incredibly helpful with arranging a tuk tuk to view key sites. The staff were really flexible about check out time and helped us with a change in travel plans with onward travel. The pool was great fun with the kids

Our stay at Thinaya Lake Resort was comfortable and peaceful, tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood that’s perfect for unwinding. The staff were caring, warm, and responsive, always ready to help with a smile, and the hearty Sri Lankan breakfast was a lovely start to each day. Guests should plan ahead and place dinner orders well in time, as dining options around the property are limited. Overall, it’s a no-frills, value-for-money stay that delivers exactly what it promises

Hundegebell bis in die Nacht, im OG kein WLAN, wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht, mussten aber zusätzlich dafür bezahlen

The amazing staff. Maybe not the most luxurious place you'll find in sri lanka, but definitely the place with the nicest staff. The room was very big with comfortable bed and a good working ac. The location at the lake is very nice and close to mihintale. Staff helped us out with the ancient tour for reasonable prices. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing and full of taste. Staff did anything to make you feel comfortable.

We received a very warm welcome, the breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. They helped us with everything and we would definitely come back here.

Posizione molto tranquilla ma con pochissimi servizi appena fuori l'hotel. Camera tripla ampia, pulita e comoda. Personale gentile ma solo pochi parlano inglese. Piscina piccola ma carinissima, abbiamo apprezzato lo spazio esterno. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Purtroppo non c'è un ristorante all'interno, si può ordinare del cibo a domicilio ma non era granché. Non vendono nulla all'interno dell'hotel, ho chiesto una birra e dopo 40 minuti me ne hanno consegnata una calda! Sono dovuto uscire a comprarne una io fuori. Molto scomodo.
