Goldenhill Retreats

Caroline was a lovely lady, she introduced herself to me and said if I needed anything, I could just ask. I knew she was absolutely genuine. My bed was cosy and comfortable and the only noise was rain and sheep. Just blissful and peaceful.

The property was well located and the facilities were great, cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Only issue was the key safe and getting into the cabin, but that was all resolved pretty easily.

The only thing that let the accommodation down a little was that we weren’t sure which lodge was ours as that hadn’t been communicated with us prior to arrival and the key safe didn’t work, so we had to wait until someone came to help us out but it was all resolved quickly and we didn’t have any other problems.Once we were in, we were very impressed by the accommodation.

Peaceful location..excellent shower..comfy bed..helpful friendly welcome by owners..Great communication before arrival to give instructions on our stay..faultless !!! Thankyou for a lovely holiday 🤩

This was an oasis in a rural setting The chalets were extremely comfortable The staff went out their way to ensure we had all the comforts. The dog Gunna, was an extra bonus, being there for extra entertainment

There was nothing the could be improved

We liked that it was away from lots of people yet only a 5min drive to the village. There are also plenty of places to visit within driving distance and there is free parking.

The lodge is small but adequate.
