Serene stay with a great view.

Great idea.. Lovely set up and nice surroundings ideal for a family or group of friends outing in the bushes for 1 - 3 nights. Not far from the paragliding, 10mins from Sedgefield town and 20 mins to the beaches.. It's completely self-catering, kitchen is well equipped.

I'm sorry for the essay but that's our honest feedback(also working in the hospitality industry.) we felt like everything needs some attention! The communication with or from the host was not exactly friendly and welcoming (we checked out at 10.22AM-in the low season). We don't feel comfortable to get into an oldish smelly bed and it is not satisfying to dry yourself with an old stinky towel, for us it makes the whole surrounding feel unhygienic. We appreciated the unique opportunity to stay on this farm, but there are some areas that need attention. The bedding and towels could be fresher and cleaner. We recommend washing them at higher temperatures to kill added up bacterias and to get rid of oils and fats that are ground for bacteria to thrive (bedding and towels should be washed at least 60°C and regularly with 90°C also duvet inners and pillows and cushion should be hang out in the sun and washed at least 2 times a year.. Evtl. It's time for a mattress change) Additionally, some small touches like triangular decking in front of the rooikat hut( to enjoy the view and sunrise better and to be able to enjoy a breakfast outside to set the table on a flat ground) could enhance the charm of the property and stay. With a bit of TLC, this place could truly shine.

Perhaps the small bar fridge in the kitchen can be swopped larger one for long stays (more than 3 days).
