BIG4 Port Elliot Holiday Park

Was right near the beach, beds were comfortable, had everything needed for a comfortable stay. full kitchen in the cabin. playground looked great for kids if you have them. was out of the town a little bit, and in a reserve, so nice and quiet. we had our own car, so easy to get to town. staff were great and let us know that we had left something behind

It is in a nice location surrounded by beaches etc, and close to the township of Port Elliot.

Our stay at BIG4 Port Elliot Holiday Park started with a message (after booking) that even though we were a family group of six and had booked a three-bedroom cabin (suitable for eight people) we were only allowed to have a single-car access for the cabin parking (even though there was plenty of room for two cars at our cabin). This was very inconvenient as we had two seniors in one car and two young children (requiring child car seats) in the other car. I did message them regarding this issue (via Booking.com) – but they ignored it! When asked, the Park’s response was that it is “our policy” (not very helpful to say the least). - We regretted not booking at one of the other holiday parks, especially since the Holiday Park was half empty & our cabin came with a double tandem park. Plus, all the cabins around ours were vacant. The accommodation is dated and well-used; the kitchen was well overdue for replacement/upgrading. The TV was difficult to operate and the Air Con remote was filthy!

The cabin was adequate but totally dated, compared to other Big 4’s we have stayed at
