Puma Meraki Mountain View Monteverde

The space was modern and very well equipped and clean. We loved the fireplace and large kitchen space. The shower was hot, there were extra blankets which was very appreciated, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook. The host was very attentive and proactive in making sure we had everything we needed including suggestions for eating out and we loved the personal assistant who helped us book our local tours. We also loved the view and being in a natural space, it was a short drive to everything we did and this was expected.

the second night there were guests in the unit above us and there was a small amount of noise transfer. I would say this was negligible for us but mention it for future guests - book the upper unit if this would be a concern for you.

Gorgeous setting - thoughtfully designed space! Puma Meraki Monteverde was one of my favorite places to stay in Costa Rica, I wish I could have spent a few more days there - I will definitely be coming back! The property is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature, and you can really feel the care that’s been put into every design detail in the space. My room was spotless, cozy, with floor to ceiling windows that gave a gorgeous view into the cloud forest. I definitely wish I could grow some of these gorgeous plants back home! Thoughtful touches in each room like a heater and dehumidifier (if you've ever been to Costa Rica you know it's HUMID and the dehumidifier was a life saver) in each room - the bathroom has hot water (this is not the norm in Costa Rica!), a hair dryer, and also floor to ceiling window with floor to ceiling greenery outside so you had privacy but felt like you were showering in nature. The main room open floorplan kitchen/ livingroom has all of the amenities, kitchen, fridge, FIREPLACE, perfect for a group that's traveling. It was a luxurious space! It is across the street from 100% Adventura Zipline & Canopy Tour. If you plan on doing the Canopy tour, highly recommend booking Puma Meraki for at least one night. I walked across the street, did the ziplining, walked back to my room and took a nice hot shower. Perfect location! The hosts were beyond wonderful — so kind and helped me with anything I needed, from reserving local tours to transportation. Their warmth and hospitality made me feel completely welcome! I will definitely be staying here again (and spending more time here!) on my next trip to Costa Rica!
