The setting is nice.

Cooking was a little bit of a challenge with only an induction burners and a microwave.

The place is lovely, clean and spacious. The host is friendly, helpful and very responsive. There are beautiful views all around the property.

It's a bit challenging to get around with the conditions of the roads and the distance to the town. We had to get a taxi on dial to get anywhere. Perhaps it's better to have a car if staying here. Lastly, there were some bugs. Which makes sense since the place is surrounded by the forest.

Quite. Convenient, obviously you needed a car, but we knew that. Host was very good about communication and directions.

Biggest prob was cold and echoey. Needed more soft furnishing

Property owner was super responsive- quick to answer messages and help us during our stay. Beds were comfy and the property was clean.

The property is a little way out of Santa Elena, so would recommend you have a car if you’re staying here. That said, taxis are available to get in and out of the main town- it just requires a little more planning / effort!

Exactly as advertised, very clean, comfortable beds, good location. Great stay for Monteverde
