Quiet but not boring and affordable. Staff always trying to help if something wrong (just need give them time). Owner cares about abandoned animals so you can find some cats and dog there (they are quiet)

The owner is very nice. Since our room not ready she allowed us to stay different room, and it was not even time for check in. She was so considerate knowing we have a pregnant lady with us

The pool needs extreme cleaning. But the rest of the property especially the rooms are very clean and homey

Das Personal im Sweet Water Resort war mit Abstand das Beste an unserem Aufenthalt: extrem freundlich, aufmerksam und wirklich hilfsbereit. Dafür ein großes Dankeschön – man hat sich sehr bemüht, uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Der Kaffee war hervorragend, und uns wurde sogar ohne Nachfrage Wasser aufs Zimmer gebracht. Wie bereits gesagt: Das Personal war das absolute Highlight dieses Aufenthalts – herzlich, serviceorientiert und sehr bemüht. Ein Resort mit großem Potenzial und außergewöhnlich freundlichem Personal.

Bereits bei unserer Ankunft wurde uns erklärt, dass wir „nur ein sehr kleines Zimmer“ gebucht hätten – was so nicht stimmte, denn laut Buchungsplattform handelte es sich um ein Deluxe-Zweibettzimmer mit angeblich 63 m². Man bot uns ein „Upgrade“ an, bei dem im Hintergrund zwar noch gebaut werde, das aber „in zwei Stunden erledigt“ sei. Dieses Upgrade entpuppte sich allerdings als enttäuschend: Das Zimmer war höchstens 25 m² groß, mit einem kleinen Badezimmer von vielleicht 5–6 m². Von einem Deluxe-Zimmer mit 63 m² (+Upgrade) also keine Spur. Das Zimmer war bei unserer Ankunft sichtbar verschmutzt – voller Baustaub, das Bad ungeputzt mit trübem Wasser und schmutziger Toilette. Die Wasserversorgung funktionierte zunächst gar nicht, erst nach rund einer Stunde kam Wasser. Am zweiten Abend hatten wir dann eine Ameiseninvasion – tausende Tiere im Zimmer – begleitet von einer sehr großen Spinne an der Wand. Die Betten waren nicht benutzbar: Die Matratzen bestanden aus extrem weichem, luftigen Schaumstoff, der keinerlei Halt bot – man lag praktisch direkt auf dem Untergrund. Dazu kam, dass die Matratze lediglich auf zwei Stahlleisten und einer dünnen Sperrholzplatte lag. Bei meinem Körpergewicht hätte das mit Sicherheit nicht gehalten. Ich habe schließlich auf dem Boden geschlafen – bequemer war das allerdings auch nicht. Der Pool war zwar grundsätzlich benutzbar, aber das Wasser war trüb – ich habe mich trotzdem hineingewagt und hatte keine gesundheitlichen Probleme, wohlgefühlt habe ich mich aber nicht wirklich dabei. Ein erholsamer Aufenthalt wird dadurch massiv beeinträchtigt. Saubere Zimmer und ein transparenter Umgang mit Buchungen und Größenangaben wären dringend notwendig.

Everything. The photos that you seen from the ads are the old photos. Present room condition very bad. DONT RELY on the reviews they are missleading. Find another place if you can to avoid disapppintmemt.

Our room was OK and clean bathroom

The pool was large but needs shaded area ,kids area, music and atmosphere. Really could not use pool because of no shade

Absolutely top is the staff and the owner. Very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to solve our problem with a car rental and organised alternative one. Great hospitality. The massive pool and beautiful tropical garden. Very tranquil, out of the hustle and bustle. Rooms are very spacious and super clean. This is a nice well kept oasis on the outskirts of the town.

Beach is quite far, but you don’t really need it with having such a huge pool.
