Location

On entering the property there was a distinct musty smell! Like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. It was raining heavily outside so we were cold and wet. Attempted to put the radiators on that were on the wall, Didn't appear to be working so message the property to ask how to work, No reply for the whole of the stay! Decided to put the gas fire on in the seating area, It wasn't working by the ignition so had to be lit with a lighter provided! It went with a bang and a flame shot out, Clearly not meeting gas safety, The oven and hob were the same, Didn't work via Ignition?Had to be lit with a lighter, Again not gas safety! Looked in the cupboard for the boiler, It had brown marks on the outer of the boiler window which I believe is not a good sign, service papers revealed it hadn't been serviced nor any of the appliances for just over two years. The next issue was with the toilet. Unless you used for anything apart from urinating. The toilet blocked up and had to be unblocked using the toilet brush.! On going to bed the bedding smelt as musty as the rest of the caravan and looked as if it had been used as a handkerchief it was all crumpled up! Worst caravan experience ever and booking.com are not interested, cost £300 for 3 nights I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here, As I don't feel it is safe and the toilet situation also makes it unhealthy!! Freezing cold! 1 star for location

Nice quiet site, close to amenities

Spacious in the living room. Spacious double room. Within walking distance to fantasy island. Very clean

The caravan was in a great location, close to fantasy island and a busy journey away from central Skegness. The caravan was very warm and cosy (seen previous reviews regarding it being cold)

When arriving at the property nobody made us aware that throughout the day cars had been literally towed off the caravan site due to the previous weather conditions - it would have been nice to have been made aware or warned by the owners that this was a possibility as we would have then parked on the road, instead we ended up getting stuck on the caravan site between several caravans and needing help from a number of other residents around us to push the car back to the road. Although the owners gave us the office side number to call, they failed to mention as it was after 5PM to be towed off it would have cost us £150! (Thank god other people helped and we have been advised to make a compliment). The caravan did not look like it have been cleaned as there was several dirty cigarette ends outside on the table, a dirty tea towel and the bathroom bin had not been emptied (previously I did see reviews regarding cleaning before booking, however thought they was using a new cleaning company now so it would be better, sadly not). When arriving the toilet did not flush properly, therefore we was unable to use it for an evening and over night, I did make the owners aware and they advised they would contact a plumber, but thankfully the next morning the toilet began flushing like normal. Sadly, I would not be recommending this caravan and regret paying £73 per night, but hope in the future the reviews get better.

Great location

Very cold caravan, no utensils in the oven to cook with , no trays etc.. The gas fire sounded like it was faulty as it was popping and banging like had air in the system.. An old van so didn't expect too much .. Shower was poor kept going cold .

Caravan needs a little tlc cups,plates need changing (all chipped) shower needs deep clean .Beds were comfortable just a little disappointed we couldn't use hoover (not working) so forever on your knees picking bits up .Rubbish bin needs replacing seen better days.These are all things that could be sorted in no time . Giving this caravan a up grade.

Great location and not far from the fair and beach
