"If I’m ever in South Dakota again, this is were I’m staying, especially if I have the boys with me."

The location is great and so is the staff! This was our first time staying in a lodge and the kids loved it. There are actual fire trucks and a play area. The boys loved it! Unfortunately, we had to leave early but I would recommend this lodge to anyone who visits Mount Rushmore, especially if you’re traveling with kids. The natural beauty of the area is amazing! The water is tapped to an actual spring so you pump the most refreshing water I’ve ever had. Thanks for the experience!

Ummm… I can’t think of anything disappointing about this property or the staff.

Lodge rooms are spacious and well appointed. Bed is comfy; linens soft. Bathhouse is very clean. Rocky is so engaging and welcoming. She is readily available if assistance is needed. Firehouse Smokejumper Station is onsite offering wine tastings and craft beers. Tasty food available from one of the alternating food trucks.
