Private, cosy and well maintained! Had everything we needed. The owners were really helpful and friendly we absolutely loved it. Booked again for 3 nights in July we can't wait to go back!

Everything was perfect. Very quiet and relaxing place.

Really good location and lovely outdoor area. So picturesque and relaxing outside. The shepherds hut was nice although we spent a while trying to find the bedding and thought it was provided at first!

Generally cleanliness could have been better. There was a fusty smell overall and especially in the bathroom. The bathroom definitely needed a good scrub and had a lot of dirt buildup in the shower.

This was one of the worst experiences we've had in a hut/cabin staycation. We arrived for our 2 night stay, and had no instructions or communication from the host at all. All calls going straight to voicemail until we happened to come upon the property and find one of the hosts. No emails were sent to us prior to our visit explaining how to access the property, or any instructions on how to operate things such as the induction hob. The hut is located in the hostsback garden, and we were instructed to enter and leave the property when heading out via a gate on a dangerous and narrow road. The photos of the inside of the hut are deceptive, it does not give an accurate idea of the size - VERY small and narrow, and not as bright and new as it looks in the photos. The bedding was in an apalling state, the mattress was uncomfortable, tattered, and we did not feel comfortable sleeping on it at all. The hot tub took about 4 hours to work on the first night, tried and failed to get it to work on the second night and the hosts charge an extra £10 for more wood. Hot water was also unreliable on the second day. We tried to make the best of it, cleaned up and left by the stated time. Overall, a dissapointing experience which was made worse by the hosts extremely rude and dismissive attitude, accusing us of leaving 'a mess' when we had washed and tidied away everything that we had used in the property. Would NOT recommend.

Location was great. Short, scenic walk from shops and pubs. Peaceful, relaxing and secluded. Good value for money. Wood fired hot tub was fab! The hut is equipped with everything you would need for a break away.
