Oak + Stars Hideaway

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay for a little getaway! Myself and my partner had the most amazing stay, it was clean on arrival everything we needed. Chloe was incredibly helpful with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable, the hut space has been used incredibly and really gives of a homely feel, the garden and outside private space is so nice and so gorgeous at night with the lights on and a fire. It was the perfect place for a romantic weekend away so much so we even got engaged, I honestly can't fault a thing it was amazing!

Hot tub was good but not enough wood supplied and £10 if we wanted another bag

Directions poor, could not find it Actual hut so tiny, pictures gave false impression inside, two people could move same time No cupboards to put clothes in No Wi-Fi at all, no tv, had to put table up if you wanted bed Cooking facilities awful, small hob that didnt work and nothing else so we had to go out to eat All in all too small with poor size and facilities and massively overpriced for what you get Thought location would be remote but it was not and is at the bottom of owners garden and views poor nothing like pictures Could not park car near hut and had to park on owmers drive We booked for 2 nights but left after 1night and could not wait to get home

Love the tranquility and relaxation. The bed was comfy also.

On our second night it was very hot when going to sleep. We couldn't find a fan in the room. There was a portable heater and obviously the log burner. We had to open the windows to sleep and obviously woke up with bites. Which we expected to do given the location. We didn't ask the host for one as it was late. But I'm sure if we did they would accommodate. As from previous conversations where very accommodating etc.

Nice location, went to Jacobs Well pub and had good food

No lighter for the hot tub, No clear instruction on how the hob worked having never used an induction hob, Wasps nest outside so unable to open windows and soon became hot and stuffy in the property, Hot tub took over 4 hours instead of 2 hours 15 as mentioned, struggled to close the gate had to pick the fence up to be able to slide the lock across and line it up correctly.

Not much we didn't like

Nice and secluded, secure garden. We were able to bring the dog and have a few nights away. Hot tub was an added bonus. Lovely garden to relax in. Great location for going out for walks. Well equipped kitchen.

Lovely stay - so relaxing and accommodating - would highly recommend :)

We couldn'y use the hot tub on the 1st night as it took way longer than informed - 4 hours had gone by and it still wasn't hot but the 2nd night it warmed up & stayed really hot and it was lovely
