Camp Talusi Hilltop Overlooking

This beautiful little bungalow is tucked away in the hill with amazing views of El Nido and worth the steps to get to the top, was worth it also to feel good and in shape after all the wonderful food I’d been eating. What makes this place even more special is the host Armstrong. He went out of his way to make sure I had an enjoyable stay and even stayed flexible with checking in later than planned due to my flight being delayed. Helped me book an amazing boat tour then also made delicious breakfasts which I enjoyed on the wonderful patio surrounded by nature. Will see you again next time! Thank you! 🙏🏻

Owner is super friendly and helpful. Location is just out of the main area so you can avoid the busy tourism noise

Steps are an issue so don't book if you can't manage. Pay attention to the track so you don't get lost in the village. Bring a torch if you come back in the dark.

The host is very helpful. He's a very nice man and he's always there / a phone call away if you have questions or problems with the house. He arranged the tour for us and the motorcycle rent which was very helpful in going to Nacpan Beach. He also helped us in getting a van going to P. Princesa. As for the place, it isolated us from the noise and busy life of the town. It's a place to stay to get closer to nature.

Would have been nice if the hut is equipped with window screen so no insect would come inside and so we could open the windows at night as it was hot during the time of our stay and with the windows closed, the fan was just circulating hot air. A fridge would have been nice to store drinks. The stairs was a killer but we know that from the start.

Our stay in El Nido was so much fun with many thanks going to our host, Mr Armstrong. He truly is one of a king and a remarkable person. It was if we had our own private guide during our time. He was so happy and welcoming and assisted us with booking tours, bikes and everything else in between. The climb up the stairs is well worth the reward of seeing Mr Armstrong’s smiling face and his loyal companion, Diesel.

It was secluded yet not too far from the city.

One had to do quite some planning before climbing up, making sure they have enough water and food.

Authentic stay in amongst the trees and animals! Away from people! Great view. Peaceful. Amazing help from property owner who is a great help in every way!

Nothing really! Steps are as expected. Do not do if struggle with steps but that is clearly stated in accomodation description so was prepared! Worthwhile to stay there!

A unique experience that you will not forget. The location is extraordinary. We loved the fact that we were away from the tourist masses in El Nido. Loved that we needed to walk through a local area to access the steps to the property. The steps are significant but are extremely well made (concrete) with a rope to assist. The lack of an air conditioner was not an issue for us.

The noise from nightclubs in El Nido was annoying at nighttime.

Beautiful place surrounded by jungle and the sound of nature. The kindest men we've met, Mr Armstrong. He is looking after the property and will help you and advise about everything. Thank you very much for borrowing your waterproof bag and bringing our luggage down the hill after our full day excursion 😘 Highly recommended.
