Camp Talusi Hilltop Overlooking

The hut itself is simple but cozy, nice and clean and very good value for the money. The host was very attentive and friendly, a good breakfast was included.

The water pressure of the shower was very low. Even tough we were informed about the steps we still underestimated them - only book this place when you are really fit!

Our host Armstrong was amazing. He was very attentive, helpful and helped us organize all the activities and even more, beyond our expectations 🙂 He helped us with luggage, and guided us through the town. He made amazing omellette. The jungle is bit calmer than town’s center. For this price you cannot expect the same quality of accommodation as in Europe so keep that in mind. As it’s common in Philippines, there is noise coming from El Nido as well as the animals. In October we havent seen any monkeys. All in all, this was one of the best accommodation we were in, thanks to the lovely host and we would definetly book again 🙂

Excellent hospitality, helpful staff, and great cook!

This was the best accommodation of our entire trip:). The bungalov is located in a bush, that is great and the view is pretty. (Please note that there really are stairs). It is very peaceful place. Armstrong, the host, was most helpful. He helped is with trasport, trips, made us great breakfast. He has amazing personal approach and we felt like home. Thank you for a great stay!

Let’s be real: if you want remote and basic: this is your place. But please note: The path to the accommodation is not to find by yourself. Also it’s really muddy. We knew the the stairs were high but this was even more challenging than we expected it to be and we are pretty fit. Maybe place some signs so people can find the accommodation themselves. The room itself is small, not dirty and old dated. Shower has almost no water pressure which makes it hard to even use it.

Armstrong is the best host, very helpful. The place is beautiful and you can see animals all mornings when you are eating your breakfast.

Mr Armstrong made my stay better than I could have imagined. He is one of the kindest people I have met. The stairs are a bit of a killer but I enjoyed the exercise. The breakfast was lovely. It was so peaceful being up in the trees.

Nothing that I didn’t like. One suggestion may be to put a small mirror in the room.

Amazing view and Mr. Armstrong,'the manager', is very kind to help (he cooked pancakes, was our guide etc). Thanks for that !! This place is in the center of El Nido, but high on the rock (150 steps). So more quiet and in the forest. I like that, not next to bars and etc. Beach is only 5 minutes walk so excellent. Book this place and you will not regret. Only thing is you can walk (coz of the 150 steps), so not disabled. If you can walk no problem, take your time to get up there and then it is not a problem.
