SHALOM CAMP

Bucana beach is pretty and remote. This bay has good beach bars. Getting to the camp you have to walk over a long hanging bridge, which made the trip there even more adventurous. The fishing village you have to walk through is very rural, but the villagers are helpful and friendly. We stayed for a few days and we enjoyed watching the fisherman go about their day.

The beach has litter. Some days more than others

Lauriano and his family make you feel at home. They are beautiful caring people. The tent was ok, they even gave me a towel. The bathrooms are pretty simple but extremely clean. And they have a shared kitchen, so you can cook your own meals. The location is amazing, right there on the beach away from the caos of El Nido. The village of Bucana is pretty charming, too.

I loved every single thing about this place. I came from El Nido and was looking for a place that's more quiet and just all about relaxing and this was perfect for it. You fall asleep hearing the waves and you wake up literally on the beach. The best part of my morning was to see Rambo the dog :) If you're ever going to Bucana Beach I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. I miss this place already.

Every place is full of sand so you're not gonna feel super clean all the time, but I mean you are living on the beach so what can you expect. Remember to bring cash!! There's no atms nearby.

Staying at Shalom Camp was an unforgettable experience! The family who runs this place is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always made us feel at home. They took care of us like we were part of their own family, and we are so grateful for their warmth and hospitality. And then there’s Rambo, their adorable little dog! 🐶 He stole our hearts from the moment we arrived. We truly hope he gets better soon! 💙 The location, right by the beach, is absolutely stunning, but what makes this place so special is the people. We hope to return one day and see this wonderful family again! Thank you for everything! 🙏✨

This was exactly the 'vacation from my vacation' that I needed. Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, all around excellent experience. Getting there can be a little tricky and communication along the way was sometimes hit and miss, but overall I was very glad I chose to set aside some time to come here.

Sometimes we were downwind of stuff getting burned and that wasn't so great. But it never lasted too long.
