Escape City Caravan

We stayed for 2 nights and had a flat tyre on the motorway so waited 3 hours for this to be fixed with a small child! Not ideal. We didn't didn't into the property until 6pm and didn't know that the passes were £27 per adult and £14 a child to use the lounge and swimming pool. We were not told that you could not book a one off charge for a day as the swimming pool was fully booked and there was no point in paying that much money just for the lounge for 1 evening.. a bit disappointed.

Clear description of prices and rates and availability of things to do. Felt like we paid £200 just to sleep really....

The best but was the fact the owners left little things like games, towels and bedding on the beds

Hosts were staying.... they bent over backwards to accommodate us and help us in any way... Would definitely return

The food was very expensive....buy from supermarket and cook in ur caravan .... we paid 75.00 for 5 portions of fish n chips on site 😳😳😳

The caravan was well equipped, had absolutely everything you needed even down to washing up liquid. Bedding was provided beds were made up ready for when we arrived along with a towel on each bed. Plenty of pans, trays etc for cooking in the van which sometimes are very limited. Very spacious smart Tv so kids could watch youtube which was helpful with bad weather days. Beautiful stay will definitely be back

Not a lot locally around but if you are willing to drive like we did there are lots of beaches around 20 minute drive away.

location was on a big caravan site, but the caravan was in a quiet part of the site. the park site had lots of facilities if you wanted them (pay for passes), but used the caravan and site for a base to travel to local events, so no need for the park facilities, the shop was very well stocked, and not expensive. the park was easy to find and owners gave us all the information we needed. the caravan was very spacious, clean and came with toilet paper, bedding and towels a extra nice surprise.

enjoyed the 3 nights we stayed, but believe that one of the 2 toilets, need to be looked at, once flushed it repeatedly filled up, husband had to play about with flush button to get it to stop, and then we did not use again. no real problem because it was one of two. do not know how quite it would be in main season, because it is on a huge site.

Location Plenty of dishes, utensils etc. View and position for sun.

Lack of instructions for electric fire, microwave etc. We worked it out but when you are on a short break an instruction folder would be handy and save time! Could do with a sun parasol. TV pixelating constantly. BBQ hadn’t been cleaned. We were happy to find a caravan that accepted dogs, however it did have a doggy smell inside the van, not sure how you address this. These are minor details and just our observations.
