Beautiful location that the kids said felt like they were in a fairytale. Very clean.

It was a cold night, and the 2 electric heaters were not an effective way of keeping the room warm. The bathroom seemed to generate its own condensation - the floor and vanity were constantly wet.

Bathroom is newly renovated but has no heating and only a light bulb is hanging from the ceiling... The Bed is not comfortable... The whole place could be cleaner.. maybe a bit of paint would help to lighten up the interior...

The cleanliness of the Cabin, not maintained, the bed was the worst Ive ever tried to sleep in - had very little sleep.

The entire cabin was substandard Furnishings were old and smelly Linen was old and blankets smelt like dog Mould in the shower and floor was continually wet with mould around toilet area Windows did not lock We felt unsafe the entire night Curtains were old and did not fit the windows Cabin smelt very musty mouldy Crockery and utensils were putrid as was the cupboards Floor was filthy Heating inadequate 1 small fan heater and 1 small oil heater We would have left but no other accommodation available

Dorrigo is a beautiful location. Surrounded by forest and green hills. We stayed in cabin number 5. Family of 5. We fit perfectly. Plenty of space for all of us and our belongings. The cabins are old inside but they were clean. We're towards the end of a 3 week roadtrip staying in quite a lot of places and this was one of the cleanest as far as accommodation standards go. The floors do get wet easily from the moisture in the air or after someone showers but our room wasn't musty or smelly like some other reviews said. Also the beds were warm and comfortable and it was nice that all the beds were made up ready for us. One of the most comfortable mattresses we've had in accommodation so far. It is averagely priced for inland accommodation. I was worried based on other reviews but we didn't have any of those complaints. Maybe they have updated or maybe we got the good cabin. Either way, Id definitely return. If you're there on their opening days, check out Peaches Patisserie. Delicious pastries! The pub was disappointing, our food was disgusting and the prices are inflated. We visited Dangar Falls and it was beautiful. We also went to the Rainforest Visitor Centre but it was raining too heavy to see anything from the skywalk or to do any of the walks. The kids got some leeches during the 20min Dangar Falls walk and were freaked out so there was no way they were going into that rainforest while it was raining. But would like to come back and do the Wonga Walk during better weather.

We don't normally eat out but decided to splash out and have dinner at the pub. The prices are higher than most pubs. The steak, fish and snitchel were all a huge disappointment. I don't know how you can make such simple meals taste so unpleasant but they managed to. Such a disappointment when youve spent so much money to do something special. My advice, cook yourself

The park was very neat and tidy with beautiful views of the countryside.

Unfortunately we found the cabin not so comfortable. Windows were damaged, cobwebs in the corners of ceiling and unpleasant odour in cabin. Bathroom had no ventilation so floor remained wet from condensation.
