Die Aussicht und das Personal ist fantastisch. Super Umgebung und Geräuschkulisse. Ein Wasserfall ganz in der Nähe. Super gemeinschafts Aufenthaltsraum mit toller Aussicht auf Wald und Reisfelder

Leider kein Schloss an unserem Zimmer, was für einen Tag kein Problem war, aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt sehr schlecht. Außerdem keine decke bzw nur eine sehr dünne. Nachts war es etwas kalt.

The location is wonderful, located at the end of a bumpy way and with a wonderful view on the rice fields. Aziz and his team are wonderful people, they will help you with anything. They can show the region, the local market is a must, the handcraft shops around are also great. The food at Satu Lingkung is great, they prepare food on demand with lots of things from own garden. Best place in Tetebatu, and prices are really low.

No storage in the rooms.

We picked the wrong moment as there was no warm water left during showering

The room was exactly like in the photos – small and quite dark, located in a simple hut – but that’s exactly what gives it its charm in the middle of the rice fields. You don’t really come here for the room itself, but for the incredible view. You can see the waterfall right from the rooms, sleep surrounded by rice terraces, and wake up to the sound of chickens – it’s a truly authentic experience. The food they cook in the small kitchen next door is fantastic: the breakfast omelette and pancakes were delicious, and the Nasi Goreng was amazing – unbeatable for the price. The real highlight, however, is the tour organized by the hotel. The guide speaks several languages, including excellent English, and tailored the day perfectly to our pace. We spent around five to six hours exploring, saw lots of monkeys, beautiful waterfalls, and endless rice terraces. The rhythm was relaxed with plenty of breaks, and it turned into one of the most beautiful days of our trip – the hotel fits perfectly into this experience.

What we liked less: there isn’t much comfort in the room itself, so be prepared for something very simple – but for the price and the location, it’s absolutely unbeatable.

Het is een geweldige locatie met een prachtig uitzicht! Er werken allemaal leuke, spontane mensen. Een van hen ging mee als tourguide. We zijn langs een aantal watervallen geweest, super mooie rijstvelden en zagen nog allemaal apen. Het eten is lekker in hun eigen restaurant. Dit is wel een unieke aanrader om hier te komen. En het is ook nog eens inclusief ontbijt.

Het enige ‘minpuntje’ was dat het best fris was in de nacht. Maar dat is niet raar, want het is huisje ligt wat hogerop de berg. Ik had mijzelf hierop niet goed voorbereid. Neem desnoods sokken mee en vraag op voorhand een extra deken voor de zekerheid. Maar voor de rest is alles super!
