"We would come again and t try the static caravans for comfort & request to be nearer the water"

The scneary and the little cafe were lovely and the playground was fab for my three year old toddler. Loved feeding the ducks too.

Unclean under the bed! Dog hair and fluff balls! The shower door was hanging off so we had to mend it to use the shower. Wi-Fi was non existent! We couldn’t connect at all. There were only two mugs in the property for three of us to use. The sofa bed was solid so very uncomfortable.

We stayed in a fabulous Pod on the site with amazing view over the Lake in March. The location is great for exploring the Lake District and offers a beautiful place to stay at the end of the day.

It was cozy. Although compact it had everything we needed. But mostly the location and the view were magnificent

Didn’t gave an oven. Although it has a microwave, an oven or air fryer would have been nice. But this would not stop me from booking again. Observation only, not a complaint.

Great location. Easy check in and check out.

Spotless, cosy, warm and had everything we needed. We were also given a high chair for our baby. There was a welcome pack for the dog too.

"Beautiful holiday home."

Well what a beautiful holiday home. Apart from the stunning views it was immaculately clean, extremely well equipped, warm and comfortable. Beautiful touches all around and a welcome pack of goodies that my elderly father devoured on arrival, so that was perfect after the loony drive! We came at a quiet out of holiday time and it was so peaceful. We loved watching the boats sail past and the army planes fly low over the lake during our stay. There are new electric car chargers on site and perfect WiFi via star-link which is super helpful. We loved our holiday here.

Wow what a weekend in a Beautiful setting. The lodge is so well layed out and they have thought of everything. So nice to sit and watch the lake, the wildlife, boats and general day to day business. Won’t ever want to stay anywhere else
