Wilding on a Whim

We had the most lovely, relaxing, back to nature weekend here. So much to see and the pods were amazing. We stayed in one with three children. Our 2 year old slept in bed with us and the 8 and 5 year old slept on the sofa bed. We felt there was loads of room for us all. So much nature to see and Colin and family were such wonderful hosts. We loved talking with them finding all about the nature and they gave us great advice about trips to take. Nothing was too much trouble and we even had a fire pit and marshmallows one evening. The pods were lovely and warm even in March. The shower was excellent and great pressure with oodles of warm water. Also... There is a hair dryer in pods incase anyone reading this was wondering! ♥

The pod and location are amazing. Only takes 40 minutes into Edinburgh with amazing views, so it was perfect for our stay. We couldn't have asked for more from the owners. Colin was so kind and helpful and definitely made us feel at home. The pods are warm and had everything you could need. We will definitely be back.

You could hear the birds inside with the windows open, it was so peaceful. I enjoyed every part of my stay here I highly recommend.

It was cute and cosy. Wifi worked really well and had everything we needed. Highly recommend, I can see us revisiting in the future. Owners were lovely.

Just minor things, needed a bigger bin and the TV signal was not great.

The pod was warm, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Stunning location and very quiet.

Amazing place! Everything you need from a glamping trip.

Our first time in Scotland and glamping and I’m sooo glad I didn’t book a hotel ! … the pods are beautiful and ever so cosy … we definitely did not need to bring extra woollies with us ! … we arrived on Xmas day to a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us … fresh eggs and milk were provided too which was very welcome ! … the pod was very clean too. beds are comfy and so is the sofa bed (I have same one at home) this is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas and relaxing here in the evening … we spotted lots of wild animals including cute rabbits in the evenings … the owner is very friendly and lit us up a little fire on our last night so my little one could toast some marshmallows. felt very safe … Highly recommend this place !
