Wilding on a Whim

These pods are part of a remarkable small scale family project aimed at rewilding a small part of Scotland with community involvement. The pods are so well thought out and extremely comfortable. The owner is friendly and clearly loving what he does. Thank you for a very pleasant stay despite the rain!

Greeted upon arrival with beautiful scenery. very child and dog friendly. host was very accommodating. beds were comfortable. pods well insulated and warm. can’t complain of stay in anyway.

if we had to be really picky, a larger mirror in the living area would have been ideal. but that’s me trying to do my hair and make up. everything was perfect.

The setting of the pods is outstanding. Surrounded by beautiful nature and very quiet. And yet there are many places of interest nearby, including Edinburgh. The pod was well equipped and easy to use. It makes a welcome change from sleeping in standard hotel bedrooms. Quite an adventure!

Hardly anything at all. A tea-towel and cloth for cleaning kitchen surfaces could have been useful.

Very peaceful and a great place which is within 30 mins drive of Edinburgh whilst still offering a very rural setting. Host is very friendly, pods are exceptionally clean and perfectly equipped. We will return again hopefully as soon as this summer!

The cabin was clean, modern and contained everything you would ever need for your visit.

I’d say nothing other than we could not find the property immediately. missed the sign on the main road so keep your eyes peeled.

Very comfortable pods, a cut above others we've stayed in. In a very peaceful and convenient location, handy for visiting Edinburgh and the coast. Would highly recommend.

The location and surrounding areas were amazing, so nice and quiet and relaxing. Pod had absolutely everything you'd expect from a self catering. The bed was incredibly comfortable
