Wallace's eagerness to help. Every day they cleaned the room and common areas. I had the room for myself most of the days, so it felt really calm.

Very different type of hostel... It's just a dorm in someone's apartment. It was a great place to get a good night of sleep after too many Caparinhas. Highly recommend if you're looking for something chill with nice staff.

Wallace was outstanding, the whole place was clean and tidy, the bed good enough, good location so I had all I expected for an affordable rate. Happy I found this place for 2 nights!!

Everything was good

Location was great, right in the heart of Copacabana, in a safe neighbourhood and 3 blocks from the metro. I was lucky to get the single (non-bunk) bed which helped my sleep quality. Mattress and pillow were comfy too and the place was decently clean. Kitchen was well equipped.

The room is quite cramped - 7 beds in total (3 bunks and 1 single bed). I was lucky that everyone else only had small bags, otherwise there would definitely not be enough storage space in the room. There are at least 4 other long-term people staying in the apartment, so 11 sharing 2 bathrooms essentially. Not uncommon though. Cleaning was done once a week on a Monday, so if you arrived on the weekend, it could get quite gritty. The room was always clean; it was more the bathroom and common areas. I was also very unlucky, my yakult drinks were stolen even though i wrote my name on them - found them in the trash one day. The owner essentially said that many people use the fridge so these things happen - i understood, not blaming the owner but I have been staying in so many hostels all over the world and this is the first time something like that is happening so it definitely affected my experience.
