Habitación con baño privado en Bilbao

Tras la experiencia, me resulta difícil ... Decir que la persona que nos atendió parecía amable en un principio. Después he comprobado que no lo era tanto.

La habitación no reúne las condiciones de higiene adecuadas. Además necesita un mantenimiento en cuanto al mobiliario. El cuarto de baño olía fatal y presentaba un aspecto sucio y dejado. La lámpara de la mesita no funcionaba. La televisión no sintonizaba canales... No pudimos dormir en toda la noche y dejamos la habitación al día siguiente y explicamos lo que sucedía a la dueña. En un correo, reconoció que había mal olor porque había restos de comida de un huésped anterior en el baño y habían salido gusano... Hemos perdido el dinero de las noches que faltaban (180€) porque se ha negado a devolverlo.

La casa es muy bonita. Está todo muy limpio y la cama es súper cómoda. El desayuno es genial y Lucia es una anfitriona muy amable. Da muchas indicaciones, buenos consejos y ayuda muchísimo. Se nota el cariño y esfuerzo. Me quedo totalmente agradecida. Además, el apartamento es muy céntrico, por lo que es muy fácil caminar por la ciudad.

Todo ha ido genial. Lucía nos recibió más tarde de lo previsto por retraso del avión sin poner ningún problema. La cama es muy cómoda, el desayuno está bien y es un piso muy bien ubicado y tranquilo.

Ninguna queja.

It's an excellent space, really clean and an amazing location.

The host was charging the other guest extra money for their stay, despite the room hosting two people. She asked them to leave extra cash in the living room to pay for it (she didn't ask my friend and I to do so...). The gentlemen left the money in a drawer in the kitchen, and videotaped themselves doing it. A few hours later, the host was kicking off saying someone stole the money and that all of us needed to pay more. It was absolutely ridiculous, trying to take every last penny from the people staying in the apartment.

My visit to Bilbao was primarily for the Europa League final. The accommodation in the city was heavily booked, so I had to stay in three different places over the course of a week. My first two nights was at the lovely home and fantastic host Lucia. My Spanish much to my shame was useless, Lucia was so patience while using her phone translator, she apologized for her lack of English when the problem was with me. The breakfast gave me a great start to the day for my exploration of the city. The location is quite good for anybody that likes to overdose on culture. Walk or a short bus ride for the Guggenheim or the narrow bar filled streets of Casco Viejo. My stay was far too short and I hope to visit Bilbao again before too long, staying in an apartment with a host like Lucia can make or break a trip. Thanks for having me.
