The owner was so kind, hospitable, and personable. Her granddaughter translated between us and she and I ended up going out to eat together. It was perfect for a home stay! The room was clean and cozy.

The host, the lady has a heart of gold, a real loveable woman, language differences were not an issue with the exuberant warmth shown by her from the point of greeting, explaining in sign languages, calling her next door woman who speaks English a little as a translator. But things were self explanatory. It was spotlessly clean. Every attention to detail like hangers for coats, sofa with mini pillows, bed with mini pillows, extra blanket above the almirah, a bed side lamp, charging point next to the bed head. The room was big, the chandelier with a glow, gives you that quintessential European charm. The window opens up with a beautiful side view if the main cathedral and walking alley, which brings the memory of Parisian windows. Right outside the main door of her flat, the view of rhe sunset was impeccable. Her smile never left her face. She made it sure to ask if I slept well. I booked for 3 nights on my own. She even asked if the heat was good enough as it was cold outside. She does not speak a single word of English, but gestures and demonstrations were sufficient. The bathroom right outside my room had a bath tub, plenty of toilet tissues, mat and She herself cleaned every bit of it, I see with my eyes. We clicked good picture together. She and her house is just amazing.

The landlady is lovely and welcomed me warmly. She even fed me with a traditional Bosnian dough she made herself. The room is cozy and extremely clean. I felt very comfortable during my stay. In addition to that, the location is great, just around the corner of the main Cathedral.

Centrally located with such easy access to all places I wanted to visit. Mimi was such a sweetheart throughout. The room was spotless clean and very comfortable. Hot showers without any issue. The place was very secure and I always felt safe as a solo female traveller. The apartment is on the 4th floor but there is a working lift. I also loved the view of the mountain from my bedroom. Her granddaughter Leila helped us with translation and she was also such a sweetheart.

The WiFi is really bad but I was already expecting this so it wasn’t an issue for me. I used my mobile data just fine and phone service worked perfectly.
