Mimy Rooms

The rooms were clean, the location central, and the host welcoming.

The room was nice, but not deserving of the high ranking it currently has on booking.com, which seems to be almost entirely due to the friendliness of the host rather than the property/room itself. The shower is only usable as a detached nozzle in a bath. The building is very rundown, with the elevator not working. Noise from the neighbourhood (and adjoining rooms) carried clearly at night. The language barrier made communication with the host difficult, and we almost missed our bus after a misunderstanding at check-out related to payment which could have been resolved at check-in. Additionally, it seems as though the host wasn't aware that we had booked two days rather than one. We don't speak Bosnian, so we also accept some fault in the situation, but we would have appreciated it if the issue had been communicated earlier in some way. This isn't a bad room, but you should go into it looking for an experience similar to staying with distant relatives and not a professional service.

Close to downtown.

The WiFi bandwidth. Monitor your internet activity behind a firewall, everything you gonna consult on the web will be monitored. Don't go there for internet.

The location is just perfect. Very close to the main street yet far enough from the noise. The room and facilities are exceptionally clean. The lady at the apartment is the nicest person however she doesn’t speak a word of English. But that never appeared to be an issue as everything can be easily settled with the host via the Booking chat. The value for the price is unbeatable. Would definitely stay again.
