Countryside Garden Homestay

I’ve been coming to Countryside for a few years now. The family is kind, generous and sympathetic and the setting is very good with large goldfish in the pond to watch as you eat your breakfast. The rooms are fine and comfortable and the free breakfast is tasty. A bike is needed to get to town center, which leads me to my negative comment below.

Alas, the bikes have deteriorated over the years. One needs a bike with good brakes and reasonable comfort and that led me to leave earlier than I anticipated. Hopefully, this situation will improve.

Super nice and helpful hosts! The free breakfast in the morning was a perfect way to start the day. We were sitting in the garden with a beautiful fish pond next to us :) The room had a nice balcony and the room was comfy. Nice bikes to rent for free!!

The location was a little bit far from old town of hoi an, but the free bikes was helpful to get around - it was still a 15 minute bike ride to the old town

The place has cute garden where you eat the breakfast. The owner is very helpful and always ready to answer all your questions. There are free bikes that you can use to go to the centre.

The room is located on the first floor, near the kitchen and garden. So it can be quite noisy and not much privacy as the windows go to the garden, you need to use curtains that block natural light.

Thuan is an incredibly lovely and kind host, the property was gorgeous and the breakfast incredible! Cannot recommend it enough.

Really lovely place! Eating a delicious breakfast in the shady garden was a highlight. Staff very helpful and welcoming.

It is a little further away from the old town but they do provide some bicycles to help you get around - but no helmets or gears.

Super sweet and calm family running the homestay. Food served for breakfast was delicious and plenty of things to pick from. Nice covered outside area with Koi fish to relax and have breakfast. Beds were nice, with aircon and nice windows

Food & Location

The rooms were so affordable, clean, and comfortable. The outside garden with the Koi pond offered relaxing space. The host was extremely friendly. Even though there was no lift, there was a room on the ground floor to accommodate guests with disabilities. Although there was a party a few houses down, we didn't really hear the music inside our rooms. Breakfast was included. You can rent a moped from the host, or fish in the river behind the property, but we didn't use those options.

It's a little further away from the centre of Hoi An. But there were plenty of electric vehicles you could hire.
