No control over thermastat.

By far my worst experience after 10 years of booking through Booking.com. The owner wasn't there that day. An hour after checking with her assistant, we received a phone call from the owner asking us to leave because we had our child with us. We had to leave within 10 minutes or she would call the police (she wouldn't give us time to find a solution with Booking.com). A little later, two people came to the apartment to pressure us to leave asap, constantly threatening to call the police and treating us like criminals in front of our child. I made the mistake of booking with the filter “2 adults without children” so I wouldn't have to book two rooms (as most establishments require extra room on the website when you add 1 child). I can admit to this mistake, but the way we were treated that evening was despicable. I hadn't planned to organize a huge party with 20 people in the apartment, I wasn't trashing the place, we had just booked for one night, without breakfast, with our young child sleeping in our room. I didn't try to hide my child, nothing was on purpose. We found ourselves in our car, with no plan, in the evening with our child, trying to find a suitable Plan B in a hurry. The owners' reaction was totally unacceptable, and on top of that, an assistant stood at the window to make sure we left the premises. Just pathetic and shocking.

Location was good, quiet, bed was very comfortable, price was good.

It was freezing downstairs in the bedroom, required 2 extra blankets which one was stained and the other had a giant used bandaid stuck to it (the one in the closet). There should’ve been a door before going downstairs/at the bottom of the stairs to make the basement “suite” more exclusive/private. It would also make it less awkward having to worry about exiting the bathroom after a shower and potentially having someone have a direct view from the main door.

The house was like home! All the amenities! Fabulous and basic needs stocked! Our host Carol was lovely and greeted us upon arrival! She made sure we were comfortable with the home. It was convenient to get around !!!

There was nothing that was any issue!

The place was absolutely beautiful and it had everything you need for a stay and more! One of the best places I have stayed so far as of comfort and making you feel like home away from home!
