Burnaby East home

I'm always grateful to have this inexpensive place to stay close to my family. I have stayed here several times and with the exception of the last stay, always find it clean, quiet and comfortable enough.

This last stay, I was put in a different room than usual. The bed was soft and uncomfortable. The light was not obvious. I had to look for it and there was loud partying going on well after I:00 am. I left at 3:30 am without sleeping. I'm disapointed to see this place is never improved. Some baseboards and a coat of paint in the bathroom would go a long way. It's hard to feel appreciated when receiving the bare minimum effort, seeing no improvements made year after year. Seriously, the cord to pull the bathroom light on is a 4" plastic stick. They can do better than this!

This was an absolutely dreadful experience. Upon arrival, we couldn't even get inside as the host wasn't answering his phone. We stayed for just one night, but that was more than enough. The place was a disaster – the yard was a mess, the inside reeked, there was dampness everywhere, and the bathroom was like something out of a horror movie, with no toilet paper to be found. I can't believe this place is even allowed to be rented out. I would avoid this place at all costs.

There is a terrible smell - like they need new sewer pipes. It didn’t stink in the bedroom but the common laundry and shared bathroom has a very bad smell
