It’s 50 cad per night but you get what you paid for

It’s behind the house located in basement. Surrounding is very dirty and smelly. When you enter the basement its dark with just 1 bulb light the washroom is dirty as well as the shower room tiles you have to have slippers inside the shower room. It should not pass the qualification for airbnb or booking.com it was dirty that we have to drove and shower at YMCA and pay extra 15 cad each. The room is decent size smelly of course pillowcase and mattress weren’t clean or change as well we have to ask the owner to change the pillow case. It’s was a sketchy night we don’t know if it’s safe as it was a very old house that should not be for a tourist it can be maybe e rented by month to month basis for people on thw low budget but not suitable for tourists. I hope booking.com will do inspections before they allowed business owners to rent their property. No hate here just telling the truth. Well it’s 50 bucks as I said you get what you paid for. The pictures are very far from what they offer so just go to backpacker house instead you will pay extra 30-40 cad but will have peace of mind and clean facilities. The owner is very responsive and you can see that he tried to do his best to accommodate guest.

Nothing. It is garbage.

There is a reason this is so low cost. It was dirty. Very dirty. Mold smell in this basement unit. There was literally dust, hair and debris on the bed when I arrived. There was garbage, used tissue paper underneath the bed, visible - not even deep under the bed. Shower is a mystery. After fiddling with two knobs (which were half broken) for 5 mins and had my hand under cold water , finally hot water came. But now it was too hot to take a bath. It was so frustrating that I booked another place, within 15 mins of arriving here. Spend a little more and have mercy on You. This place is not good.

It is separated from owners. Has all the basic stuff I need. Enjoyed reading here due to peace of being alone

I booked in Winter. While the heater was set up, place felt cold still. However, the bed comforter was warm and sleep was good.
