A Stunning Chalet Style Home

The host was accommodating and conscientious, ensuring my stay was comfortable and that the neighborhood would serve my needs. My room was comfortable and cozy. The Albion Shopping Mall could be reached on foot, and the residential area was ideal for relaxing evening strolls. The bus stop to Islington subway station was just a 5-minute walk away. The family and other guests were amiable, making my stay a home away from home.

Pradeep really cares for his guests, for example: have you ever been asked in a hotel which colour you would like for your towels?

I booked the Deluxe Queen Room. Ad stated (and still does as at review date) 'This double room has a microwave, air conditioning and kitchenware.' However no microwave or kitchenware. I was also informed that all food was to be eaten in kitchen so presume rules changed but not advert. Room listed as having a patio however it didnt although next door room did. Kitchen very unclean. Stovetop covered in grease, hand towels dirty with dried food, so was table. Nothing cleaned in the 5 or 6 days I was there. Residents were Pradeep, his brother and elderly mother plus a number of other guests. from memory there are 9 bedrooms. More like a boarding house situation. The toilet and shower are in one room. Be prepared to share with the other guests. Fortunately the males used another toilet however we all used the same shower which meant if shower in use the female guests had to wait to use toilet or go and use the mens.

The house is super pretty and the room was very spacious for me and my parents. The beds were super comfortable and we had great nights of sleep. The neighborhood is quiet and even though is far from the center, it was close to the metro station so it was easy to more around. The high point is the host who is very welcoming and wants to garantee a memorable stay to its guests.

One of the highlights of my stay was being treated to a welcome dinner by the host, where I had the opportunity to connect with other guests. As a solo traveler, this was a wonderful chance to meet new people and share experiences. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making me feel right at home. Overall, this homestay is a true gem for solo travelers. The warmth, care, and exceptional service provided by the host made my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and memorable experience. I can't wait to return!
