The Hidden House

Lovely and spacious house. Our dog was made to feel very welcome, and she enjoyed her stay, as did we. Hostess made our stay very comfortable.

Access to the property is a little tricky, but once parked up, it is fine.

The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds without staying in one of those villages, which are packed with tourists. Abi is a superb hostess! She gave us some great local tips and made us feel very welcome in her home. Thank you very much Abi! We highly recommend the Hidden House and would definitely come back when visiting the Cotswolds. This was our first ever Home Stay experience and it was a great start and it probably will be quite hard to top this.

Our room was amazing!!! Very comfortable, great bed and huge bathroom with good shower and a bathtub. A lovely breakfast was provided and our host was delightful.

Located in a lovely residential area, good location if you have a car, we used taxis.

Room is reasonably clean and comfortable

This bnb is a long way short of the many bnb we have stayed at in UK rated 9+. I do not understand how this bnb acheived a high rating.

It was exactly what was promised. Hosted by Abi with such warmth and special touches. Our room was welcoming from the moment we entered. It was an oasis, really, and rather tastefully decorated. You can see the effort. Our host was very, very helpful with where to go and what to do, like walking routes, eateries etc. She took care to give special instructions how to get there and made sure we had a place to park. Unforgettable. If we ever returned to Cotswold, this would be our base. (We had rented a car which was a short bus ride away from Stroud train station. We had taken the train in from Stratford, London.) From The Hidden House, we drove to many scenic spots like Bourton-on-the-water, Stow-on-the-wold and even as far as Oxford!

Big comfortable bed with high-class bed-linen, exquisite interior, really fascinating. Great value for money. Interesting and chatty host (ess). Plenty of healthy choices for breakfast.
