This was my 3rd stay at Cauldwell Villas. The accommodation is perfect for a solo woman traveller (or anyone) as it has its own entrance, so I could come and go as I pleased. The accommodation itself has everything you would need for a few days stay. It's in a lovely quiet area, and is safe, cosy and warm, with a comfy bed and a great shower. It has all the kitchen facilities you would need plus ironing board and hairdryer. The addition of a little bedside table was brilliant as I had somewhere to put my phone, water and medications. The table can be put away behind bed during the day. I especially liked the fresh flowers and the Kit Kats that were left for me. The host Marie is a lovely lady and ensures that your stay will be a nice experience. Hopefully I will be back again next year.

I can't think of any negatives.

All excellent. Great value for the price. Cannot fault anything. Ideal location for what we needed - so close to the finish of the Great North Run. Would highly recommend.

"Perfect Peaceful Place to Stay in the North East"

This listing gave me absolutely everything I needed for my work trip. On top of the excellent facilities, the owner gave me excellent friendly advice about nearby restaurants and shops. This is a great accommodation choice for the Sunderland / North East.

There is a bright security light that floods through the toilet window when you least expect it!!

"Had lovely weekend chilled out peaceful home relaxing home from home"

Was very clean comfortable nice view from road relaxing lovely comfortable bed and large tv for when we were back in the villa just to relax

No welcome as owners were away but was still nice but dog dirt on back garden grass when there was still there when we left .large garden lovely to be able to have sat out if we had took chairs with us dis’s appointment was could not put car on drive had to park on the road
