Tropical Garden Oasis Rooms

Stay was great, Brenda is absolutely fantastic, very helpful and welcoming! Property was lovely and clean, great for a short stay would definitely book again!

Kept emailing me which I didn’t mind but not a quick way to contact anyone mabye try texting or calling instead

Nice garden

Had a strange encounter with the owner. Me and my friend travelled together as he had family down the road and I travelled for a conference. He came in with me as he was desperate for the toilet. However I started to get some texts from the owner asking if the gentleman is leaving and no guest allowed. I informed that he will not be staying and we will be leaving shortly. Next thing I get a text saying he needs to leave in the next 5 minutes which really got my back up. I informed that he needed the toilet and we’re gone. I didn’t see guests were not allowed but I thought it was over the top for someone using the toilet! Also there was cats there which yes they were cute and friendly but I am allergic! I felt watched the whole time I was there (the owner wasn’t there and was watching me on the camera!!!) the stairs had cat hair all going upstairs and it smelt a bit like cat urine. The bedroom was as basic as it comes, I didn’t even stay for coffee due to the encounter I departed as soon as I woke up. Walls are paper thin so you can hear everyone else. I am really unhappy with my experience. Also the area is unsafe and very dodgy.

Easy access

We couldn’t use the garden and that was the main reason we booked this room and wasn’t notified of this before the arrival

Friendly host, amazing garden and use of kitchen & bathroom facilities!

One air mattress didn’t stay up, not a problem as I was alone and it looked like the tent may not have been water tight which again wasn’t a problem as it didn’t rain.

The host was very hospitable and accommodating, the garden, which was the main feature I looked for whilst booking, did prove to be relaxing and peaceful as expected

If some more work into cleanliness was applied to the kitchen, living room and staircase then the property would really come together as a whole and thrive. This did not impact my use of the shared facilities however which were adequate during my stay
