Alur Beach Homestay

I had the back room, so had a bit more privacy. It was right on the beach so perfect for snorkeling right next to turtle point. The breakfast was amazing, best banana pancake, omelette, fresh fruit juice and a fruit platter, either outside your room or on the beach. It was easy to rent fins for snorkeling.

You can't imagine how close you are to the sea! snorkeling with turtles, tropical fish & a beautiful coral reef straight out the front. The homestay has everything you need, I found it very comfortable & well run. There are numerous excellent Warungs & a supermarket close by & a 10 min walk to Jemeluk Bay for more snorkeling.

It's a bit tricky to get the hot & cold water in the shower to mix. Really needs more shade out the front - there used to be blinds? ....

Beachfront and private

It is so close to the waves on a quieter part of the bay. Wayan and her husband are delightful and helpful for anything g you need.

Beach front, great location neat restaurants and Kembali reef with great snorkelling.

Perfect location and really kind family

Very cosy and quiet place. Perfect beachfront location , big and clean room, sitting area indoor and outdoor on a small terrace. Bathroom is in nature concept design- love it. Quiet part of the beachfront - no loud beachfront warungs or action around. Sound of splashing waves - all you can hear at night

It would be nice to have simple fleece blanket for extra warmth at night if sleep with AC. . The air inside the room can be stuffy with is hot and humid, if AC is off. But if to run AC at night, you will be cold just under thing sheet. Bring your pyjama with - if prefer to sleep in a cool room.

Location is ideal - on the beach so if you don’t have a scooter, that’s perfect. You can see turtles on the beach. Staff is incredible, they would arrange anything for you! Rooms are spacious and clean. I’d recommend 100% for a trip in Amed!
