An amazing homestay, by far the best we visited during our 3-week trip to Indonesia. Located very centrally, in a beautiful yard. Very clean and pleasant rooms - plus delicious breakfast. It cannot get any better in Ubud, believe me!

Sampo, the owner and the support staff were very helpful. Overall the location is right in the middle of Ubud. The monkey forest and Ubud palace are 15 minutes away in opposite directions once you come out on the main road. There's an Indian restaurant right in front of the alley called Punjab Grill.

This homestay is strictly for backpackers. It's inside an alley where car can't reach so if you have heavy bags (like we did), you should look for other properties else you will have to drag your bags for some 250 meters on a stone path. The room was simple and had most things one would need but some small things need improvement. The door lock of the room wasn't working from the inside so we had to use the key to open the door. The room had only one mirror which was in the bathroom, so if someone was in the bathroom, another person can't get ready because there is no other mirror. The room didn't have universal travel sockets. It had usual Indonesian sockets. Luckily I had a multi socket with pins long enough that could fit and managed with it. On the day of checkout I found out there was an adaptor kept in the drawer. It should either have been attached already or should have been mentioned when we checked in. Minor thing but matters when you are travelling. Breakfast was simple. Didn't have options but this is not a hotel so no complaints there. Overall, a budget friendly accommodation for backpackers, however the entire area is full of homestays, some are on the main road itself and some even have swimming pools so check out other options as well.

Struttura davvero bella familiare e nel cuore di Ubud dove il caos non arriva. C’è la possibilità di noleggiare moto, lo staff è molto cordiale e c’è la colazione (non c’è tanta scelta) ma è comunque ottima. Consiglio il soggiorno

Although I rarely write negative reviews, I feel compelled to share my experience. Initially, the host appeared amiable, but soon became rigid and transactional. Before making any request, they informed me, “This is not a hotel.” My polite messages were frequently delayed or disregarded. The homestay has a two-day schedule for room cleaning and towel replacement, but this was never communicated to me. During the initial cleaning, only one towel was replaced. I politely requested the second towel, and the host agreed, yet it was only replaced the following day, already exceeding the schedule. I reasonably anticipated both towels to be replaced during the next cleaning, but none were. When I requested only one towel to be replaced, the host repeatedly refused and emphasized operational costs, even for a single towel, which was quite uncomfortable. To preserve my peace of mind, I left the accommodation early, forfeiting nights of the room fee. Guests who value respect and responsiveness should consider alternative accommodations.

Our stay was fantastic. From Sampu's warm welcome and friendly hospitality to the hotel's location and the comfort of its facilities. We are very happy to have spent three nights at this hotel.

Très bien situé pour aller en ville rapidement mais légèrement à l'écart pour ne pas avoir le bruit de la route, emplacement parfait Le logement était impeccable, le nettoyage fait chaque jour et le personnel très gentil Le petit déjeuner est amené dans la chambre pour profiter du balcon Grande chambre, eau chaude, draps et serviettes propres

Consigliatissima.Sono tutti super gentili la stanza sempre pulita e la colazione in terrazzo molto buona .Abbiamo chiesto di lasciare le valigie e non c'è stato alcun problema.La casa è vicinissima al centro ed attorno ci sono negozi e locali.

Il proprietario Sanpo è un vero padrone di casa: gentile, accogliente e caloroso! Abbiamo alloggiato qui per 6 giorni, la posizione è ottima perché centralissima ma fuori dal traffico di Ubud. Tutte le mattina la colazione veniva preparata al momento e servita sul terrazzo. L’intero staff è gentile e disponibile per ogni richiesta.
