The owners were really nice and willing to help us with everything. They gave us the excellent breakfast and we had drinking water and tea/coffee available for the entire stay. Housing was modest, but very authentic.

We shared a bathroom where were the cockroaches, but later we could use another bathroom, which was fine. A bit annoying was the rooster that was noisy all night so we couldn't sleep.

Abrakadabra is a really nice homestay, with very welcoming staff who made sure I was well looked after as a solo traveller - even having a few meals together! The accommodation itself is really beautiful and relaxing, especially the pool/ dining area. The breakfast was amazing - I enjoyed having a different Indonesian dish every morning! It's also in a central location, although it doesn't feel too busy or touristy.

I liked the host&staffs' friendliness, the coziness of the property, + vibes, the food they served for breakkie! They all definitely met my expectations. Highly recommend this hostel.

The place has a lovely atmosphere, with beautiful common areas and rooms. We had a twin room with private bathroom that was amazing, clean and well furnished. Breakfast was really good (coconut pancackes and fruit) and you can always use the kitchen to prepare yourself a the / coffee (for free) or eat your own food; also, free water dispenser. The staff was super, they helped us also finding a taxi to go to the station! Thanks!

The place is super good, only a tip: as the bathrooms have to ceiling maybe it would be usurio to have a net for mosquitoes!

Quiet, chill vibes in a laid-back, serene open-air communal space, surrounding a plunge pool. Space is tastefully furnished and decorated with aqua colored accents and rustic interior. Rooms are clean and spacious and outdoor shower-bathroom is a nice touch. Jelly and rest of staff could not have been friendlier and more hospitable, providing breakfast each day and a map and suggestions for things to do in the city.

Mainly just the location, which is a bit inconveniently located in between streets that lack a through alley. So while we appreciated be peaceful and quiet neighborhood outside of the bustling parts of town, it is perhaps not ideal for walking. Would suggest a motor bike for guests. Door locks are a bit janky and got some bugs, but it’s all part of this homestay’s charming experience.

the place is very cosy and decorated with taste, very comfortable bed, offered cheap but great laundry services, extremely helpful and smiling staff they even bought ticket trains for us at our request (this is way beyond what is expected and we really appreciated it)

The family is very welcoming and friendly and are happy to provide any information needed about yogjakarta. The common area has a kitchen with free water refill and an beautifully decorated indoor garden. Also the outdoor bathroom in the private bedroom is a highlight. It is located in a quiet area with a night market and restaurants at walking distance.

It is a longer walk to the center by foot but by grab or gojek it is fine.
