Nice staff, clean room, freshly prepared breakfast each morning, English speaking staff and really nice chitchatting with them

It is not particularly minus points, but what we expected differently: - bed had nothing cover yourself. It is warm enough (actually quite hot), but it is a bit when you are not used to sleep uncovered. - bathroom is outdoor. It was clean nonetheless, but you will probably see bugs, ants and geckos. - window is just a mosquito net and a wooden cover, so you hear everything and everyone hears you. The accommodation is in a quiet area, though, but you never know about your neighbors - there is still a gap below the doors, so insects will find there way inside, if they want to - no ac, just a loud fan. Still the nights were extremely hot. - not sure if itching bites came from the nights here or if I was bitten outside the hotel, I suspect the former to be true - the staff is not really helpful with information about things to do or tours. Everything was answered with "I don't know, sorry" - although the garden is really beautiful, we did not really meet or books with other tourists. I think this could totally change if drinks would be offered (not necessarily alcoholic, because this is not allowed by the terms you have to on check in) - the accommodation is in the corner end of two very silent streets, so we mostly took a taxi to get somewhere - no soap in the rooms To summarize: With a little bit of effort, this place could be easily upleveled. Staff knows English and it is fun to chat with them, but please inform yourself about things to do and provide that information to tourists, team up with an English speaker driver, and probably offer some drinks in the common area of the guesthouse (a fridge would do). Close the gaps at the doors keep bugs and mosquitos away from the room.

The staff were lovely, the bathroom was good and the breakfast, which changed each day, was delicious.

Location is deceptive when you're looking at the map. It looks like it's near stuff but due to road configuration it's actually a bit of ballache to get anywhere. Room like a furnace and nowhere was hugely clean.

Really nice and cozy hostel at a good location. The host and his crew is really nice and helpful. I was staying in the dorm which has comfy beds with curtains and lockers which easily fit a big backpack. There is free water and nice breakfast. They have a warm water shower and you can book several tours through the hostel. I could easily extend my stay for one night (even cheaper prices than digital booking). Really nice community areas.

I was the only backpacker there so I never and to wait for free shower or toilet. Maybe if they are fully booked you need to wait a little when the facilities are still occupied.

Everythink was fine. Personel very kind and helpful. Small beautiful garden with swimming pool. Clean, locer in room, bed comfortable.

We were warmly welcomed in this amazing homestay. The atmosphere is so nice and fresh with all the plants carefully cared. We felt like at home. It is a really good plan to enjoy Yogyakarta while being in a quieter neighbourhood. Tasty breakfast! We wish we would come back!

Exceptional hostel. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, very chatty and helpful. They know the vicinity and are keen to give inspiration and hints where to go and what to do. The breakfast in the morning was freshly prepared with local ingredients. The hostel is tastefully furnished and equipped. Bathrooms are clean and tidy. Cleaner comes through every day. The beds were clean and comfortable, the rooms spacious and inviting. Every room is equipped with a fan to cool down. The shared kitchen and living space is incredibly beautiful as the owner has created a green oasis with self planted plants, hanging off the walls and ceilings. The location is quiet, but close to the city centre. As a solo traveller who's never been to Indonesia before I have found exactly what I was looking for. I'd stay again, come back in a heartbeat. This place has got a fabulous vibe. One of a kind jewel.

It's hard to stay cool at night or day. Rooms are not equipped with full air conditioning. If you decide to have a holiday in Indonesia you'll need to accommodate the humid heat.

We had a great time with Fisra and Devoo (I'm sure this is not the right spelling). They made us feel at home. We felt like having made new friends. The outdoors shower was a nice touch.
