"If you stay here, you will be back."

Bernie is a wonderful hostess, who will make sure that you feel at home from the moment that you arrive. Breakfast is semi self-service. There are lots of cereal and fruit options but also everything required for a cooked breakfast. It is extremely efficient and satisfying and great fun if Bernie is hovering about. The local pub is only metres away and is nearer and better appointed than a hotel bar if you were staying in a large hotel instead.

"Had a really lovely stay at the Salmon Island View."

Although I only stayed for one night I can honestly say it was one of the best places I've ever been. The comfortable bed and all the little details which Bernie provided (and Bernie herself was very helpful and friendly) and the very welcoming log fire on a wet and stormy night were heart-warming. I had a lovely seafood chowder in the pub which was only a few steps down the road. I will definitely be back.

Such friendly hosts, lovely spot to stay. Room was just gorgeous, cook it yourself breakfast was great. Highly recommend.
