L'emplacement était idyllique, sur les hauteurs de la ville, en pleine nature. Les derniers mètres se font en tuk tuk. Très calme et reposant. Accueil chaleureux et très bon petit déjeuner.

Bij aankomst werden we enorm vriendelijk begroet, waardoor we ons meteen thuis voelden. De kamer was erg schoon en het ontbijt was fantastisch. De locatie is perfect, tien minuutjes lopen van het centrum en met een prachtig uitzicht. Als je in Ella verblijft is dit zeker een aanrader!

Room felt a little damp, neither towel in the bathroom nor my hand washed clothes (that I hung up in the bedroom) dried within reasonable time (family was very helpful, gave me a fresh towel and put my clothes in their washing machine). It is important to know that this accommodation is kinda remote, you need to walk along the train tracks to get into town and while a tuktuk can get you in the proximity, there is no direct road access to this property - you will have to walk a few meters and cross the train tracks.

We absolutelty loved our stay, it felt like home. What outstanding lovely hosts and wonderful view from the balcony. Communication was amazing, helped us out renting scooters, packed our breakfast when we left early, even gave us umbrellas when the weather was rainy. The whole family just made everything that we had a comfortable stay, thank you so much!

Just prepare yourself to walk next to the railway, it‘s the fastest way into the city, around 20 min with a beautiful view.

We loved everything. The room and view were perfect. It was very clean. The breakfast was very good and the people we're very helpful and friendly. The place is easily reached by tuk tuk, they have a parking. Nearby is a very good restaurant where we ate the best curry of Sri Lanka. They helped us get our tuk tuk out of the mud when we wanted to leave. The family made our stay on Ella unforgettable

A very comfortable stay with great views and very helpful hosts who went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and helped us with the logistics wherever needed. Food was great, wifi was high speed, recommended without reservations!

Die Zimmer hatten eine tolle Terrasse mit Aussicht. Die Gastfamilie war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns jeden Morgen ein traumhaftes Frühstück bereitet. Das beste Frühstück, was wir in Sri Lanka bisher erlebt haben. Die Unterkunft war sehr einfach, aber sauber. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Wichtig: Uns hat es gut gefallen, dass die Unterkunft abseits des Trubels in Ella liegt. Man muss jedoch wissen, dass die Anreise mit dem TukTuk sehr herausfordernd ist. Das letzte Stück zur Unterkunft muss man über die Bahngleise gehen. Auch wenn man zu Fuß in die Stadt möchte, muss man über die Bahngleise gehen. Tatsächlich ist dies vor Ort für die Menschen ganz normal und kein Problem, da die Züge sehr langsam fahren und sich rechtzeitig bemerkbar machen.

Dadurch, dass die Zimmer keine Klimaanlage haben, waren sie durch die Luftfeuchtigkeit sehr klamm. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach eingerichtet und etwas renovierungsbedürftig.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach nur zu empfehlen! Sie liegt etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß (entlang der Bahngleise) vom Ortskern Ella entfernt und es ist total ruhig und man hat einen wundervollen Blick ins Grüne. Die Gastgeber sind herzensgute Menschen, die immer hilfsbereit und mit Tipps zur Seite stehen. Das Frühstück ist außerdem super lecker. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit dort und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen :)
