Tropical Livings Meru Ipoh Homestay We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights and honestly couldn’t wait to leave. Unfortunately, there is nothing positive to say about this stay. Our first impression when driving up to the property was “Are we really staying here??” The porch was dirty, rubbish everywhere, and the tiles were broken and coming off. The side garden had overgrown grass and weeds. I have photos to support all these points. Inside the house was no better. There were lizard droppings everywhere. The floor was not properly vacuumed, the sofa had stains, and the bedsheets were not clean and appeared to have been used by previous guests, had blood stains. Paint was peeling off the walls, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned, it was dusty, had black mould on the bathroom door. Very strict house rules for a very run down, zero star homestay. Honestly, I could go on and on. How this place has a 4.6-star rating truly beats me. We felt cheated! It was a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this homestay at all. PS: We made a complaint, and the owner sent a cleaner over. Unfortunately, the “cleaning” was brief and the cleaner left without saying a word.

Vast spacious living enough for approximately 2 average families. Quiet area with not a lot of distractions, which made it peaceful.

Might be a little too peaceful. The neighborhood had a lot of properties that seemed unoccupied or abandoned. When we visited, the kitchen lacked utensils like a knife or scissors so you would have to bring your own. Also, there are a lot of small things that are broken, such as one of the floor pieces detached from the second floor and the shower-head holder in the master bedroom that is broken. Would recommend the owner to touch up a little here and there before the next guests.

ada water filter, memudahkan for quick drinks. tilam extra banyak, ruang yang luas. kelengkapan lain lengkap

utensil tak lengkap. kebanyakkan ada copstik. sudu garfu tiada. tong sampah dalam bilik atas tiada. cermin dalam bilik terhad hanya dalam toilet sahaja. tak cukup cermin untuk bersiap jika ramai2
