Lovely stay at AA Homestay where you definitely feel like home! The family owners are just the sweetest people on Earth, super helpful and welcoming. They help you out with any request and prepare for you any kind of meal for a very affordable price. Rooms are basic but clean and the place is definitely worth for its price. Strategic location just outside the park (5mins walking)

Albert and his family are super kind and nice. His daughters can make genuine local food, recommend to try the fern and fried rice/noodles. We have stayed at AA homestay for 4 nights, it’s kinda like a home in the rainforest. Room is spotlessly clean and offer free hot water to make coffee. And they will offer food in meal time. The location is a bonus, only 5 mins walk to the entrance of park. Besides, the bottle water and food price are lower than the grocery store in Mulu park.

The room at the end of hallway gets a bit sultry in the afternoon.

The location walking distance to the national park and airport. Mulu is a wonderful place for those who love nature and hiking

We spent 5 nights at AA Homestay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Mulu! The homestay is run by a very kind family and they provide excellent yet very affordable food for their guests (and cater for any dietary restrictions you may have). Do make sure to try their pumpkin curry! The main advantage of the homestay is its close proximity (4 min walk) to the entrance of Mulu National Park.

5 min walk from the park is a big plus.

Excellent location - only a 5 minute walk to the park. Basic but clean room so good value for money.

Great little place, ideal location to the national park, very friendly hosts. Very basic but ideal with what we were looking for. Best cold shower in Borneo!!!

Convenient and walkable to Mulu park and airport

AA Homestay is close enough to the park entrance that you can run home & pick up forgotten stuff! So convenient! Albert & Mary are super friendly and kind, Albert even brought some forgotten items to us at the airport—where else does that happen?? The accommodation is simple (so, no A/c) but the fan works great and bathroom is en suite. I would definitely stay here again!
