The right side of the Uros “village” for sunsets. Very comfortable bed. I slept halfway down the layers but with clothing on. It is cold at night on the Lake. Putting yourself under all the layers was very heavy - hence wearing clothes and sleeping half way down! They provide a heater that you can use for up to an hour prior to sleep and provide a hot water bottle too- which kept warm until morning! Isaacs and Cladiz (I thought she said Gladys!) are a lovely couple who work very hard. They have a lovely little dog called Antonio. I highly recommend you choose them as your Uros island stay. Cladiz made dinner and it was delicious and good value 35 sols . I even know where the chicken came from that day! Breakfast was beautifully presented fruit into a palm tree plentiful bread and scrambled eggs. Included is a Uros islands tour and a ride in Isaacs homemade reed boat which is idyllic. He explains some about the reeds fishing and hunting plus community life.

Ok. It was functional but dry toilet was a bit of a wake up call. However the toilet paper provided was the best quality on my whole trip - think andrex quilted !

Best experience ever. Don't go to lake Titicaca and miss Isaac and Gladys place. They will remain in our hearts. Authentic and genuine like the people who own it. They did their best to please us and they succeeded. The room is great, confy. The view spectacular. Food great, actually too much.

Nous avons passé un parfait séjour avec Issac et Gladys. Nous avons énormément apprécié leur disponibilité et leur réactivité (aide à trouver un taxi sécurisé pour le petit port et l’aéroport). Les repas étaient excellents. Un moment chaleureux et de découvert avec cette famille.

Rien, nous avons tous apprécié.

Ci è piaciuto tutto! Isaac e la sua famiglia sono veramente persone di cuore! Esperienza eccezionale

Le séjour passé chez Isaac et Gladys fut un moment hors du temps. La gentillesse de nos hôtes, le partage de leur riche culture, leur accueil chaleureux etc. Tout a été parfait. Leur île bénéficie d’un emplacement magique, baigné de soleil jusqu’au coucher et calme (car un peu excentré de la zone fortement touristique). Les activités proposées par nos hôtes étaient très enrichissantes. Et les repas préparés sont dignes d’un restaurant ! Nous avons pu bénéficier d’un tour de la communauté, d’une séance d’initiation à la pêche traditionnelle avec Isaac et la découverte de l’artisanat de Gladys ! En résumé, ils ont été aux petits soins pour nous, arrangeants du début à la fin de séjour. Nous ne sommes pas prêtes d’oublier cette expérience !

Herzlichkeit von Gastgeber Isaac war besonders toll. Das Appartment war wunderschön mit vielen Details und einer wunderschönen Glasfront. Wenn es sonnig ist, ist die private Terrasse mit Liegestühlen und einem Bali-bed toll! Isaac hat uns pünktlich mit seinem Boot abgeholt und sicher wieder zurückgebracht. Kommunikation verlief sehr gut. Zimmer war kuschelig warm in der Nacht dank Heizer und Wärmflaschen :)

We had a really nice time with Isaac and his family. We discovered his small island, we went also finishing with him. The room is quite big with a terrasse with a beautiful view on the UROS village. We had nice breakfast and tasty diners. Highly recommended instead of staying in Puno to live a local experience

Isaac was an amazing host, he picked us up from the port in Puno and dropped us off early in the morning. We had a great stay on the Island and had a great breakfast and dinner. Would 100% recommend. Thank you so much for having us
