Mei Jen Home B&B 民宿

Short walk from the sun moon lake shuttle bus station, bike rentals, and the sun moon lake circuit! Wanted to stay at shuishe side of sun moon lake as it is quieter than yidashao, and this B&B was perfect. Hosts were very warm and friendly, and there is a cute cat!! 😊

One of our most favorite accommodations in Taiwan. We had a marvelous stay at Mei Jun House. The location is very central and unlike the other reviews, it was really easy to find the place. The room was spotlessly clean and the interior of our room was very modern. The hosts were really thoughtful and helped us for our bus reservation to Alishan and we got a lot of recommendations for the Sun Moon Lake. Next time we would definitely stay there again.

Mei Jen is a one minute walk from Shuishe Visitor Center/Bus Station. The mom and daughter went out of their way to help. My shoes got wet from the rain. They moved them from the rack and put them on a dehumidifier to help them dry. They sent me a message to let me know. They answered all my questions about the area and the bus schedule. My room had a balcony with a partial view of the lake. The room had a sitting area with a love seat. The bed was comfortable. Shampoo and shower gel were provided. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The B&B has a washer and dryer. They have shared refrigerators and water dispensers on each floor. There is an elevator. The breakfasts were good with different options each morning. There is a rooftop terrace. A 7/11 is across the street.

This is a solid 10 in every aspect. Joyce and her mom are just charming and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. There are fridges on every floor, a coffee machine on the ground floor and lots of snacks and biscuits. Free parking is available across the road and we had a great view of the lake. The breakfast was ample and delicious. The Wifi worked very well and shower was fabulous. All in all FANTASTIC - book it!!

Absolutely fabulous property located just two minutes walking distance from the Sun Moon Lake bus station. Hosts were wonderful and helpful. Property is clean and neat. Great breakfast choices start your day to explore Sun Moon Lake. The pier to catch the ferry is a ten minute walk down the street through interesting shops and restaurants.

The directions to the property is not correct on the Booking.com website. The directions lead you to a parking lot.

Joyce and her mother manage this home stay. Joyce speaks English and was extremely helpful to us,helping get us bus information, booking a private taxi and answering other questions. The property is spotlessly clean and a very good value. It is also an excellent location

The owner is very friendly, helping us to send postcards, bring us to sunrise shooting in the morning, and have a nice breakfast, just a few min walk to Sun Moon Lake.
